May ? MAY ?! - ALREADY ?! Is it just us or is this year FLYING by ?? ....this year is going by so quickly , it'll be Christmas again soon before we know it lol ! We
just couldn't resist bringing you a couple more piccies from one of our recent parties - here are some of our party girlies
enjoying a bit of buddy-bonding over our fab jewellery making activity, many of the girls make amazing items that they all
take home after the party ...some of our art & craft activities for our makeover parties include : beadcraft & jewellery
making , keyrings,masks, customising purses , bags or t-shirts ....and we are always looking for new ideas that you may
all like to try out...

It's April already - (how did that happen ?!)
Yes, it really is April already - can you believe that ?! It doesn't seem like two minutes
ago since we were wishing you all a very happy new year and polishing off the last of the mince pies - and here we are
, Spring has pretty much sprung and Summer will be with us before we know it - yay !
We have been very busy here at funkit HQ creating new parties - details of which can be found
here on this site. If you are a mama mia fan then we have the party for you , no doubt about it ! We are still a
bit disturbed by the sight and sound of Pierce Brosnan singing and dancing though I have to say : )
As we are still being crunched on the credit front we have decided to suspend any price
rises indefinately , continue with our 10% discount for all returning clients , and also offer a whole range of party extras
that we don't , well , charge extra for - you won't find us charging extra for party bags or pictures ; with us it's all included
in the one great price - fabulous ! Contact us now and get your party booked in today !

for... we are really looking forward to seeing very many of you again at our party venue in 2009 - both new visitors
and those of you who have already visited us and are returning either for your own parties or for the parties of friends.
...this year we promise that we will be making lots of new additions and exciting changes to our party venue, both in terms
of our facilities and also in the content/format of our parties - so we can promise you that even if you have already
visited us at our venue, any return visits will be different from your last - yes, never a dull moment with the funkit crew
!
If you are considering booking a party with us then you may have to get in quickly as
February and March are filling up at an alarming rate , with April hot on it's heels ! If you wish to book it is a lot easier

December 11th 2008 - Well,
we thought we'd try and sneak in a quick post before our last post before Christmas (which will be around December 21st for
those of you who want to check out your party pics on line !) as we've got some gorgeous piccies that we just had to
post for you party girlies ! As you know , we don't post any names on our website but you party girls know who you are
and will no doubt be checking to see if you've made our gallery this week - and yes, of course you have ! We love these pics
- it is so lovely for all of us here at funk it ! to see those happy faces after a good two hours of non stop partying
with us that it is a real pleasure to be able to post pictures like these for you all. And for all of you girlies who
have already partied with us since we opened we would like to wish you all , and your families and friends, a Very Merry Christmas

November 27th 2008
Ok ... a bit unusual for us , but we are posting on our updates page BEFORE our
parties this weekend ! Why ? Well.... lets just say that from this weekend things get so full on at our party venue that
there is a very real possibility that we may not get chance to post on here until a few days before Christmas , as we
are so busy partying ! We are really looking forward to meeting all of you new and returning party girls and guests
over the next three weeks - a big thankyou to you all for choosing to celebrate your important day with us at funk it party
venue , we promise that you will have a great time with us ! If we can we will bring you some more fantastic pictures
from our parties coming up over the weeks before Christmas , but just in case we really don't get a minute we want to wish
you all a Very Merry Christmas - Nadolig Llawen !
November 16th 2008 - Party-tastic ?! Party-rific
?! Party-mazing ?! - How many new words can we come up with to describe the wonderful festivities that have been
rocking our party venue over the last week ?!
This week we have hosted parties for some fantastic Birthday Girls and their lovely guests
.... we hope to upload some of the lovely pictures that we were able to take (with parental consent of course!) over the last
week of our party girls enjoying themselves.....HSM parties have been the order of the day this week , as everyone gets into
HSM 3 mode including us ! We are big fans of the choreography in the latest HSM film - and 'The Boys Are Back' is definately
our most requested karaoke track from the HSM 3 soundtrack so far !
Sarah & I are getting quite excited as we are going shopping this week for Christmas decorations
and some new costumes for our dressing up area . The colour theme for the Christmas decorations is looking very like
being neon pink (in honour of her Royal Highness, Queen Sharpay herself!)and we have got our eyes on some new Hannah
Montana outfits , feather boas and glitzy cowboy hats for our dressing up area , among other things ! We are also looking
forward to the arrival of our latest cosmetics delivery , courtesy of Barry M & Stargazer cosmetics , as we are planning
some fantastic new looks to add to our parties for our older girls - we can't wait !
Finally - for all of the mums and adults who have been asking us if they can hire our fab
party venue for the evening for A GIRLS NIGHT IN(well, a pre-meet up spot before a night on
the town) visit our PARTIES page now for further developments !

November 8th 2008 - What A Great Day -
Yes, another great day of partying here at Funk It ! HQ , and yet again , we have to say it - we really do seem to have
the loveliest clients ! Once again it was a real pleasure partying today - all of the girls were absolute sweethearts and
we think that it's safe to say that a great time was had by all ! With the permission of the parents/carers of all of the
girls concerned we are very happy to bring you some lovely pictures from todays party - this is partying Funk It ! style
- glad you all had such a fab time girls , so did we !

November 3rd 2008 - Wow -
What a weekend ! Well, we did it and we are now up and running , and what a fabulous weekend of non stop partying we have
had ! We'd like to say a huge Thankyou to our lovely Birthday Girl and her lovely mum (and dad - sorry dad !) for being
such lovely ,lovely clients for our very first in-house party on Friday October 31st - it was an absolute pleasure , and thankyou
so much for the lovely text that you sent us after the party to thank us for the great time that you had all had , and to
wish us well with our new venue - very much appreciated , and always a joy to receive such fab feedback, so
a big thankyou to you all !
We are all looking forward to another week of partying here at www.funkitpartyvenue.co.uk and look forward to seeing lots of you very soon , including everybody who has got a party
booked in with us over the next week - we can't wait !!!
October 29th 2008 - Ok folks, latest update :
we have almost completed fitting out the venue and have uploaded some fab piccies onto our VENUE PICTURES page....and we are
ready to open for our first party in a few days time , Yay ! To say that we are excited is something of an understatement...and
with a whole load of advance bookings already firmly in place in our bookings diary we can only look forward to lots more
partying at the new venue over the coming months ! Do contact us now if you want to book for 2008 or 2009 as we
have some weekends that are now fully booked - that's six parties a weekend , although we also offer weekdays & after
school parties if you are after booking a particular date , or as close as possible to your chosen date if that is already
taken !
A Very Big Thankyou to all of you who have wished us well in our new venture , who have enquired
after our progress and who have already booked parties with us, we could not do this without you and we have been very
heartened and touched by your support and enthusiasm for our new venture , and encouraged by your lovely words of support
! We look forward to seeing you all at the new venue very soon !
